An adverb of time is an adverb (such as soon or tomorrow) that describes when the action of a verb is carried out.

Adverbs of degree indecate us about the intensity of something.

  1. She has almost finished.
  2. She is running very fast.
  3. You are walking too slowly.
  4. You are running fast enough.

Adverbs of frequency tell us how often something is done.

  • He always walk to work.
  • They usually arrive late.
  • I don't usually give personal advice.
  • My mother often forgets his birthday.
  • She sometimes wakes up early.
  • I rarely drink tea in the morning.
