A possessive pronoun is used to express ownership or possession.

A personal pronoun is a pronoun typically used to refer to a speaker or to the people or things that a speaker is referring to.

Example:-
  1. You need to stop lying to me.
  2. I want you to read this book.

A reflexive pronoun is used as an object that refers to the same person or thing as the subject.

Example:-
  1. He was in a hurry, so he washed the car himself.
  2. Jennifer does chores herself because she doesn’t trust others to do them right.

An indefinite pronoun is a pronoun which doesn’t specifically identify what it is referring to.

  1. Many are called, but few are chosen.

A demonstrative pronoun is a pronoun which is used to point to specific people or things.

An interrogative pronoun is a pronoun used to ask a question.

Example
  1. What do you want for your birthday?
  2. Which shirt do you think looks better for you?
  3. Who do you think will loose the playoff game?
  4. Whose socks are those?

An intensive pronoun is a pronoun which refers back to the subject of a sentence in order to emphasize it.

Example
  1. John wondered aloud whether he himself was the only one seeing what was happening.
  2. Sarika knew that she herself could make a positive impact on the world, if only she put her mind to it.
  3. You yourself can easily change your habbits: All it takes is a proper care and causion.

A reciprocal pronoun is a pronoun that is used to express a mutual relationship.

  1. Sarita and Ravi gave each other gold rings on their wedding day.
  2. TOM and JERRY were talking to each other in the hallway.
